I was invited to be part of a new book collection by Institut du monde arabe / Seuil. The publication “Araborama” seeks to put back the rebellious and revolutionary dynamics of 2011-2019 in a greater historical, sociological and artistic frame.
The request was to build my own interpretation of the concept of revolution : how could you depict that word/these words (thawra ? Intifada ? Inqilab ? etc..).

This is an initiative of the Cultural and Scientific Association (NADWA) in Dubai to expand creative expression and to promote graphic design practice and creative thinking in the MENA region.

SIKKA EXHIBITION: “UAE banknotes; A country’s business cards”
• The first and biggest design work that combines graphic design and security printing/measures and features.
An informative art design that draws attention to an everyday used medium, which carries significant weight as representative of the culture of the county. Banknote iconography often reveals a reflection of a culture, of a period, what were the most important landmarks or symbols, or a nation and its people.
Middle Eastern advertising is experiencing many drastic changes from art to design and social studies. With digital networks and the continuous movement of people around the globe, has created ever-expanding multi-cultural societies.
The challenge is creating a balance between the Arabic language and English “International language”, in which designers can build cultural bridges and diverse branding identities.
The aim of the project is to create a guideline and knowledge on how to balance a form of visual communication with the Eastern and Western language and culture. The project is an experimental method to investigate new ways to design typographically for a bilingual audience of dual backgrounds by creating a simultaneous reading experience of Arabic and Latin.

Dubai Culture: Year of Tolerance
Tolerance School 2 Bus Artworks
The first bus design represents the tolerance of locals of the UAE and how they are spreading love and respect. I have also included the logo of "year of tolerance" and I reconstructed it to keep the artwork consistent, and you will also find leafs of the Ghaf tree spread over the artworks.
The second bus represents cultural tolerance and the UAE flag is wrapped around to demonstrate the solidity of the UAE to welcome everyone, therefore, I have included landmarks from all over the world (from 7 continents) and I have also looked for the most nationalities in the UAE and made sure I presented them in the artwork.

The Fatimid Kufic script was developed under the Fatimid dynasty (909-1171 CE) started from North Africa and then entered Egypt (Cairo), and Syria.

" WE ARE KILLING OUR CAMELS"
is an awareness campaign object the United Arab Emirates nation, to demonstrate the detriments of plastic bags on camels. This project aims to make people think that next time you casually toss a plastic bag out the window of your car, remember this fact: hundreds of camels are killed every year by plastic left behind in the desert. The zero awareness of this fatal pollution is becoming an epidemic.
The posters are a representation of the beginning of tossing the garbage in the desert until the death of camels.

NHS: MEN BREAST CANCER CAMPAIGN
The Big 6
Many people don’t know that men can get breast cancer because they don’t think of men as having breasts. In fact, both men and women have breast tissue, although men have much smaller amounts than women.
Because breast cancer in men is rare, less is known about the experiences of men with breast cancer and most of the available information about breast cancer is aimed at women. It also means that most of the research into breast cancer and their treatment has been carried out in women.
